The journey of Rajendra Regmi to Nirahaari Baba.
The world record of staying alive for 18 days without eating or drinking anything is registered in the name of Andreas Mihavecz, an 18-year-old boy from Austria. However, he did not make this record on his own will, but an accident happened to him, in which he also lost his life. Knowing that no person can survive without eating or drinking for more than 18 days, Rajendra Regmi “Nirahaari Baba” still resolved to break this record and make world records. During this, he met Indian journalist Ajay Jha (News Bharat 24) who went to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal in March 2024. Journalist Ajay Jha interviewed him and spent 10 days with Baba and became aware of Baba’s supernatural powers. When Baba expressed his desire to make a world record by staying without food, Ajay Jha invited him to Patna, the capital of Bihar, the mother of democracy, the land of knowledge and salvation. By holding a press conference in Patna, informing the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and the Governor, taking permission from Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar, a new world record has been set by fasting from 1 August 2024 to 20 August 2024 at the office of All India Anti-Crime Front, MIG 76, (near Lohia Park) Kankarbagh, under the supervision of CCTV under the leadership of Ajay Jha. From 1 to 20 August 2024, on the instructions of the District Magistrate, Dr. Yash Raj and his team of Jaiprabha Hospital, Kankarbagh, conducted his health check-up every day. From doctors to people in the media world, everyone was surprised that a person is completely healthy even after fasting for 20 days. Many politicians and organizations have honored him for this achievement of Nirahari Baba. Nirahari Baba’s name has been applied in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Let us tell you that according to reports, the case of surviving for the longest time without eating or drinking anything came to light in the year 1979. Andreas Mihavecz, a resident of Austria, survived for 18 days without food and water. Actually, a tragic incident happened to him. On April 1, 1979, he was allegedly taken into custody by some policemen by mistake and was kept in a holding cell of a local government building in Hochst, Austria. He was accused of being involved in a car accident.
The policemen had forgotten him after locking him in the cell: According to Guinness World Records, it is said that after his arrest, the police officers had the misconception that someone had released him, while he was locked in the basement cell the whole time. It is believed that Andreas survived by licking the walls for 18 days, but he died on April 18, 1979.
